Downtown and "Southern Strategy" Locations
The City, County, and the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County are actively
promoting a "Southern Strategy" to spur commercial and economic development in the southern
portion of Leon County. Additionally, the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church is spearheading
a redevelopment of the Frenchtown area near downtown and Florida State University.
